The Royal Dux factory was founded in Dux in Bulgaria (now the Czech Republic’s Duchov) but had its roots in the company of Royal Vienna in Austria.
In the nineteen twenties and thirties the factory was quick to adopt the emerging Art Nouveau style producing a wide selection of quality earthenware and porcelain figures, wall masks and figurines.
